Last autumn, an incident occurred in which a group of Chinese-speaking visitors entered a restricted area of the garden wearing only socks, causing inconvenience to other guests.
Due to light rain on that day, they returned indoors with wet socks, leaving footprints on the corridor and tatami mats, which created a significant burden for cleaning staff.
In addition, there were reports of individuals climbing on stone lanterns within the garden—an extremely dangerous act that raises serious safety concerns.
Furthermore, when entering the residence and removing coats or outerwear for photos, please carry the items in your hands as much as possible. If that is not feasible, place them along the edge or corner of the pathway to avoid obstructing other guests. Please complete your photo sessions promptly. We kindly ask that you observe and follow the courteous behavior of Japanese visitors.
If any similar disruptive or dangerous behavior is observed in the future, you will be asked to leave immediately without a refund of the admission fee.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in maintaining proper manners so that all guests can enjoy their visit comfortably.
